Hi,
You dont have to do any recording the CHR Files are directly stored at some location and you can directly download them in your system.
To access these files you have to get in the RNC LMT- File Manager/bam/Version a (or Version b)/ftp/CHR. you will get these files.

Hi,

CHR can extract in huawei nastar, omstar, npmaster , aexio xeus.
CHR contains failure message, setup tp, imsi, imei that may help for your analysis.

As far as I know: Aexio xeus & npmaster could only reads 3G CHR files
is it right?

yup..only on 3G chr....
Sorry as no experience on working with 2G GSM chr...
