Low band & High band Network Strategy
Dears,
What's the recommended 4G network strategy in case of having two carriers
one is low band & the other is high band

Re: Low band & High band Network Strategy
Hi.
In a more general view, since low band has more coverage and building penetration, it should be used for coverage and adding higher frequency bands for capacity.
I hope it helps

Re: Low band & High band Network Strategy
I agree with you
but my major focus is regarding parameter setting & neighbor configuration

Hi justdream.
Sorry, I only can help with high level issues. I am not expert in low level parametrization.
I answered you because of I understood it was a high level question, sorry.
Good luck

Re: Low band & High band Network Strategy
stratgegy
- The LTE camping philosophy is as follows:
- Higher priority for bands with lower UE penetration support
- Higher priority for higher bands (smallest coverage)
- Higher priority for larger bandwidth (better throughput)
- Equal priority for bands with similar RF characteristics
- Equal priority for similar bandwidth (+/- 5MHz)
- Some CA PCC bands can have higher priority if required
now what mml tables you need? let me know!

Thanks for the info, I want to check how to configure inter-freq neighbours in this case

Re: Low band & High band Network Strategy
Hi!
@auto_art is there a document that describes the features of the strategy? Can you provide for everyone?
