RBS 6000 TRX Configuration
Hi Everybody;
I have a serious problem with TRX integration in one site from our network, I explain.
We have one site with RBS 6102 and it has 4/4/4 TRX in 900 and 2/4/2 in 1800, because of congestion in cell B, we want to reconfigure the site like this 4/4/4 in 900 and 0/8/2 in 1800 using the same existing resources "DUG and E1", and for cell B we use antenna sharing. we tried to do it but we face a problem, 1800 of cell C was down.
Can anybody share wiht us how to proceed step by step to implement this config.
I will be very grateful for your help.

Re: RBS 6000 TRX Configuration
Hello Ghost; I think you need to install the site with 2 TG, 2 DUG each band seperate from other.
Then you you need to make sure that the BSS configration team will connect the TRXs to related Cells accordingly you will have the requiered configration.

Re: RBS 6000 TRX Configuration
That's right, cause a DUG20 can only carry with up to 12 carriers, and you're trying to get 22! And you'll need a second E1, you won't fit that 22 trx in an only E1...

Re: RBS 6000 TRX Configuration
Hi;It's not like that, we are using 1 DUG and 1 E1 for 900 and another DUG et E1 for 1800, so we have 2 DUGs and 2E1 for this site, we want to avoid to add extra ressources just for 2 supplementary TRXs.B.R

Re: RBS 6000 TRX Configuration
Ensure that the power setting for the TRX's is consistent with the number of TRX's per RUS.
