CE-wbbp allocation on Huawei cell

i have a question about CE-wbbp allocation on huawei cell. in a nodeb , it's ce utilization still low (about 10-20 %). but some cell in this Nodeb has ULCE congestion. is there are anyone who can share about manual allocation of CE-WBBP ?

Hi, the can due.. The ul/dl group is not correctly confugured... Or the. Licence qty is not the correct... Or the setting firts capacity is desable...

1. Go to MMLCommand NodeB : DSP LICENSE ==> check CE License
2. Check DSP BRD, for Example :

Check whether the CE is Normal or unconfigured..

3. Check the WBBP type itself by LST BRDINFO then put Cabinet No=0, Subrack No =3, you will find the type of WBBP..

HEre is WBBP type u should check. You should set the license as same as its capacity board.

HBBI ==> UL/DL = 128/256

EBBI ==> UL/DL = 384/384

WBBPa ==> UL/DL = 128/256
WBBPb1 ==> UL/DL = 64/64
WBBPb2 ==> UL/DL = 128/128
WBBPb3 ==> UL/DL = 256/256
WBBPb4 ==> UL/DL = 384/384

Pay attention as sometimes ULCE congestion is due to external interference, if the configuration of the channel elemts is correct.

Hi, what counters or formula are you using to evaluate your utilization of CE (i.e. UL.Shared.group or DL.shared.group)? does it happen only in busy hour? Is this a RAN sharing sites?
