I need that as I am working on Huawei system. I am struck as Huawei guys are not providing support. You told me to contact trainer, thanks for advice. I know the process of HOC & POC but i am not getting details of some Huawei Specific parameters. If you also do not know in detail than please stop putting your comments and advice, that is not required.

Hi Jayk,

To enable Huawei III Power Control, U will change the existing settings from POWER CONTROL ALGORITHM SWITCH setting from HWII Power Control to HWIII Power Control per cell.

This parameter was designed for BSC6000 but the exact algorithm was not published due to information security.
There is no downtime.
There is also no parameter to be adjusted in MSC unlike DTX.
As an additional measure, implement this not on maintenance window so that you can see immediately the result and if not passed with your standards, revert back.

This algo has already been implemented. Problem is that, Huawei is not sharing details of parameters. My query is about RX Qual Threshold, For example-

Parameter-DLFSRexQu alHighThred

Default Value-16

GUI Value Range-1~30

Actual Value Range-1~30

How this range is mapped with RX Quality?

Hi JAYK,

RX_QUAL THRESHOLD is set to 60.

Although same as before the implementation, the clustered area sites that upgraded to HWIII improved KPI.

That's all I can say since Huawei didn't give more details after the implementation.
