    Default Identifying various INFRA from UE side

    Hi All,

    From UE logs ,(3G only)especially message like RRC ConnectionSetup message from NW ..can we able to identify ..what is the INFRA (OR) Node B.

    Like Nokia or NSN or E******* or ALU or Huwaei ?

    anyidea will be useful or share any useful information...

    There is no such identification of vendor from any message in Downlink. I think , there is no such need to know hardware manufacturer for UE.

    The simple answer is no. There is no provision in 3GPP to identify UTRAN vendor using signalling information elements.

    Saying that if you are very familiar with a particular vendor you might be able to identify the same one elsewhere as usually there is more than one way to implement various functionality in terms of RRC signalling so there are certain particular implementations you can look out for.
