when you know the site database is all correct and height data is avaiable for all the region, press global edit from sitedatabase window, select filter 2 and select use DTM heights.apply commit and recheck. that may help.
THANKS TO DAVID, BLASTER & TEMS FOR UR VALUABLE SUGGESTIONS...
By using global edit i redefine the antenna, prediction radius, hexagon radius, cell layer and others....then got some improvement....
the path loss predictor is running now and can show the best server...But the prediction result is not accurate though i'm using a tuned model which is tested
ok before 2 years for our local clutter.
.......As per david i selected the DTM height also....
The problem might be related with -
propagation model / Antenna database / clutter-height data / or else.....
Different parameter settings and coverage snapshots are attached here.
In cell layer, PA output is fixed for all cells....
the coverage snapshot comes EXACTLY what i attached....A SQUARE..
SEE THE ATTACHED SNAPSHOTS AND SUGGEST TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM..
even the information is not quite enough, still it is seen that the output power used here seems to be too high , 80 Watts , what BTS is it?
try using 43 dBm PA output and as for the square prediction run it zoomed out or dont select the option which says select display which selects the area displayed and dont predict beyond it.
