    Default 2G Optimization

    I want to ask the people optimizing 2G networks. What is the maximum deviation(in degrees +/-) of the planned antenna azimuth and the real installed, not affecting site performance? The site is 3 sectors 900mhz in rural area.

    -/+ 2 degree would not affect site performance....Speaking from a drive testers point of view

    can anybody explain the signalling process in handover from 3G to 2G ?

    the maximum is 13 degree, down tilt, include electrical and mechanical tile

    -/+ 10 degrees. I agree with RF ENgineer.Based on experience also.

    @ Processor : I agree with Mr./Mrs RF engineer's opinion. + / - 10 degree of azimuth is okey.
    but your idea is for tilt, + / - 2 degree of downtilt is not much affacted to cell performance

    oops...my apology to everyone as i actually thot he was asking for tilt...I totally agree with RF engineer for azimuth.
