How-To use PASOLINK PNMTj usb modem dialup

Hi,

As all you should know, the PNMT and the LCT-WEB is only accessible via the usb cable and dialup connection to the PASOLINK-NEO equipment.

I have figure it out how to access directly via ethernet / ne port, so you can access your pasolink via PNMT directly via ip network/ethernet switch, not needing the PNMS system.


Instruction to PNMT

1 - Go to the installed folder eg: C:\PNMTj and then open the Config folder.
2 - Open in a text editor, the file PNMT.properties
The first section should be look like these below
[PNMT]
Version=PNMT
Revision=1.09.003
PortName=Pnmt
DummyIP=172.17.254.253

3 - Remove the line " PortName=Pnmt"
4 - to access the radio, you just need to change the DummyIP= for your desired pasolink managent ip .

Open PNMTj and Enjoy!!

I have do what you suggest , ; ihave removed the line pnmtport and changed the ip to 192.168.1.4 but it doesn't work.Could explain it to me please step by step.

have you changed the default ip from your nec pasolink neo IDU? If yes,
are u been able to get a ping response from 192.168.1.4 ?

I have configured the NIC of my laptop with the following address : 172.17.254.252
and the default address of nec neo is 172.17.254.253, but it doesn't work.
