    Default GPRS Query

    Hi,
Can someone explain the difference between a GPRS connection , session and PDP context activation and when do they happen and when they end. When are we charged during these events .

Last question :O) : When we move from one SGSN to another SGSN , which of the above mentioned three takes place ??

    Thanks a lot

    Hi
GPRS connection and PDP context activation when you already connected to SGSN and GGSN and have the access IP. and session means when already you have transfering it is the same as making call and when you , Billing will be start when you have TBF( data block transfer).
When you transfer from SGSN to other SGSN all data, signalling by GTP(GPRS tunnel protocol to other SGSN) you can check for GTP on net there are alot of discussion about it
