GSM - Threshold values

Hello-

I am working on a project and am trying to determine if the threshold values set by T-Mobile for GSM are much different than those published in their current documents for UMTS? Does anyone have tables or docs on the older GSM system? Everything here is for the newer UMTS system. I want to compare and contrast the performance of the two.
