I had the same problem with this GPS using Nemo outdoor 4.24.90.

the solution that I did was install Spanner (available on the Garmin support) and then create a virtual serial port and connect the GPS as a serial, not USB.

This solution works very well with the mobile connected and when I add the scanner PCTEL EX, Nemo lose the serial port.

do not install spanner its not needed it will not work or hang up the kit accordingly
instead just after connecting the device it will search for or found new hardware and install the garmin usb device hardware
see it on device manger and connect it after mobile
and make sure that u r out of u r home at-least it wont connect there

Garmin 18 is not supported by tems 9

Try GpsGate. May be with this everything will be ok in TIG. For nemo i don't know ...

Yes, Garmin 10 and almost BT GPS are supported.

One of the recommendation is Holux BT GPSlim 236. Others maybe Gsat BT-359, Royaltek 1000, 2001, ...
