Use the application Erlang B to calculate the number of circuits

    Default Erlang B

to calculate the number of SDCCH channels, first of all, u must enter the total SDCCH traffic carried in Erlang in the first box, than enter a value for blocking (0.02 for example) and finally click on calculate to have the number of circuits

in the example attached I chose 16 as total SDCCH traffic carried in Erlang and 0.002 as blocking and the result was 24 circuits (3 SDCCH)

    Hi bro
try to know the total traffic that you want to offer
    choose erlang B
for example total traffic offered =9.5 erlang
propability of loss blockage 2% ie =0.02
    note blockage means congestion
click on calculate to find out number of circuits in our example =16
and you know for each sdcch time slot ,there are 8 blocs so we need 2 time slots dedicated to SDCCH.

Thanks guys a lot, but I still have small question,
what's the difference between SDCCH loss & SDCCH block?
