Sepura SRM3500w repeater

Hello, I'm trying to figure out how to configure the SRM3500W in repeater mode. I think I must have forgotten something because it doesn't activate when I go into the menu.

I'm using RM1.

If you have any guidance for me,

SRM can't be a repeater, it's not SRG.

I have two SRM-3500W and two SRG-3500W.

SRM-3500W: DMO gateway / Repeater Interoperability = if it detect a repeater or gateway and can connect to it, then you can communicate through them. (Can't act as DMO repeater, you can't activate this function, if you buy licence and upgrade your SRM, you got error during upgrade and the radio reboot).
SRG-3500W: Can act as Repeater or Gateway if it has valid repater and or gateway licence (must be purchased as paid option).

Repeater Services
• Repeats DMO voice and tone signalling on selected talk group
• Repeats SDS and Status messaging on selected talk group
• ETSI Type 1A DMO Repeater for channel efficient operation
• Transmission of Repeater Presence signal
• Priority Call
• Emergency Call (Pre-emptive Priority Call)
• Supports E2E Encrypted DMO traffic
• Monitoring of and participation in calls whilst in Repeater mode
• Configurable Repeater power levels
• Repeater services are an option enabled by a feature license code

The above listed repeater and gateway functions are not present in the SRM-series.

Firmwares for the 3500-series:
Latest for the SRM-3500 is: 10.5-004 (i can't find 10.5-006).
Latest for the SRG-3500 is: 10.5-026 (I can't find 10.6-xxx, 10.9 version don't work).

Thanks for the information, Gabord. I understand better. This will help me find an SRG3500 or 3900 (with the right firmware) to continue my Sepura investigations.
It's not easy to find Sepura firmware. I don't have much, especially the ones we commonly find here.

Please do not buy SRG-3900 if it has firmware later than v10.22.
If it is upgraded above than v10.22, then you need Sepura SALT licence (to program the radio).
From v10.20 (v10.22) you need SALT-1:

So it is not very simple.

Firmware:
It is simple:
for the 2000-series (SRH, SRM, SRG) use v8.3
For the SRH-3500, SRH-3800, SRM-3500, SRG-3500 use v10.5-xxx
For the SRH-3900 use v10.21-004
For the SRG-3900 and SC-series use v10.22.xxx
(and you don't need SALT).
