    Lightbulb Import UDR for Tems Discovery

    Please advise if there is a way to import UDRs from external sources (e.g., KML, KMZ files) into Tems Discovery?

    Hello!

    You can make a UDR using your external source of any TEMS supported GIS format (.tab, .kml, .kmz, .mif).

    You need to follow these steps:
    1. Import your file using 'Import GIS data' feature;
    2. Set your created Geo Area default for your project in project properties
    3. Send GIS to map view
    4. Using 'Vector Feature Selector' tool on map view toolbox select that polygon which you want to save as UDR
    5. Clicking on polygon will call window with polygon properties. You can close it. Your polygon will be highlighted with red line.
    6. Right click on selected polygon and then click on 'Add the highlighted area to UDR'. You can repeat this action for other polygons in your layer
    7. Now you can save user-defined region

    I made these actions with .TAB file, but I faced problems with .KML. I can not select any polygon. Not sure, maybe this is because I don't have an online map in my Discovery. If you have the same problem, try to convert your KML file to TAB.
