Radio Model samples for cross-vendor MW equipment study
Hi,
I am a newcomer (independant self-employed retired) and look for samples of radio models let's say
f0 = 7 GHz or 11GHz
Channel width = 28 or 30 or 40 MHz
equipment introduction year: 2015 to date.
This is key to perform a comprehensive benchmarks as Radio model includes characteristics hidden in the available specifications (ATPC range, Signature/DFM, XPIC, Adaptive modulation steps & thresholds) and then evaluate the performance of long haul P2P links
I will publish first results as soon as i have minimum 3 vendors among
Aviat, Ceragon, E*******, Huawei, NEC, Nokia (former Alcatel-Lucent)
and publish augmented version when more vendors available.
Thanks for kind support.
Pierre
PS: how to get permission to download for newcomer ?

Re: Radio Model samples for cross-vendor MW equipment study
Hello,
Newcomers have limited download capability. Are you looking for the radio propagation model (as stated frequencies and channel bandwidths suggest) or you are looking for radio protocol specifications? For what you are asking, you would need a radio channel model since adaptive modulation will not be effective without dynamic channel changes. Otherwise, you can go with ITU recommendations as it includes all mentioned phenomena. Even vendor specific radio propagation models are static. Adaptive thresholds and other radio equipment related data is available in vendor documentation.
Your request should be precise in order to others to help you. You can't say that you want multiple frequency bands, multiple channel bandwidths, all vendors' equipment in the last decade. It doesn'twork that way.
