Does Verizon deploy 5G Samsung equipment according to the SA model or NSA?

It has been nearly 2 years since Samsung announced that they signed a $ 6 billion contract with Verizon for building a 5G network. So far I am still wondering how Verizon has deployed 5G Samsung equipment: They deploy the 5G SA model or according to the 5G NSA model (Swap the current 4G equipment by 4G Samsung equipment)? The main obstacle leads to many operator in Europe hard to deploy 5G network. They own a lot of 4G Huawei and now do not want to continue with 5G Huawei.
