    Hi kentck86

Try reversing "Pllot Lat" & "Plot Long" in Columns / Rows. I will also attempt to see if ive missed any steps and update
    accordingly.

Step 1: Once all the calculated fields have been created, convert Plot Long: (Sector) and Plot Lat: (Sector) to Geographic
setting, then place Plot Long: (Sector) onto Columns field, followed by Plot Lat: (Sector) onto Rows field. This action should
be followed by applying both Tower and Sector measures to details, as seen below. (ensure the points are at correct location)

Step 2: Once converting Plot Long: (Sector) and Plot Lat: (Sector) to Geographic setting, then placing Plot Long: (Sector)
onto Columns field, followed by Plot Lat: (Sector) onto Rows field. Now in order to remove remaining “NULL’s” from dataset,
place Lat&Lon Value onto Filters and remove NULL’s likewise.  Mapping:

    Capture.jpg

Step 4: - After placing Point ID (bin) field onto columns. Now Change the table calcs within Plot Long: (Sector) and Plot LatSector)
under Column and Row respectively, by selecting “Compute Using -> Point ID (bin)” for each dimension and then densification
    will occur

    Hi All,

Simple solution ! Create TAB files in MapInfo and directly import in Tableau. why making the things very complicated ?!

    Hi,

Yes it is possible , just import your mapinfo Tab file then make a joint with Cell name and colorize the sectors based on your desired range for each KPI !

    Hi,

Import Mapinfo TAB file to Tableau through Data page and select Others option . Put Longitude in X and Latitude in Y and drag your cell name into details

@ electron, are you using some mapinfo plugin to show sectors and its tab exported is used as import data for tableau , or you use excel table with all sector data and import in mapinfo, but there is shown only site position , if not wrong ?

    Hi Punto,

Yes I simply create may sectors in Mapinfo using some available plugins then directly import the created Tab file in Mapinto to Tableau and all will be shown there as a sector shape.

because, sites update daily. pulling them from network and automatically building is easier than manually downloading.
this was not complicated and rather easy.
