    Default ******** Cleartone CM5000

Hi, I have a ******** Cleartone CM5000 and I would like to activate the DMO repeater mode for testing on the HAM band.
According to the instructions, this is done using a PIN code entered in a special menu.
In Native Progeamer, the options are active, but I do not see the possibility of turning on a repeater in the menu. The "Repeater mode" option appears in the TMO option, but its launch ends with the message "Service Restricted"
Is the problem known and is it possible to activate this option?

This is not a problem, this is feature. You must purchase activation code from mfg. Or, hack this feature by somehow.

I wanted to buy, but the manufacturer claims that the product is EOL - buy MTM5400. I would like to use this CM5000.

What will happen if pin code entered more than X times? If they are 4-digits only, it's only 1,000 of combinations. Or, there is some wrong pin entering protection, like in cell phones?

You can enter without fear of blocking the radio. There is an error message about the code.
Rather, there are around 9,999 combinations. I put them all in, none of them worked ...

    I have bad news.

Today i'm made photo from one by government used CM-5000 radio.
On the top of the radio is van sticker with the PIN-codes.
    Radio FW is 1-026.
Both PINS (gateway and repeater too) are 8 digit numbers.

I thought so ... If someone had such a radio for sale, I would like to buy it - of course with a working repeater mode
