Sepura Radio Manager 2

Good evening,
is it possible to read a Sepura STP9040 with the Radio Manager 2 if the device was not programmed via this RM2? How?

The STP-9xxx series and later SC series are not supported by the RM1.xxx versions, so the radio was programmed with RM2.
Simple: import the same firmware as in the STP 9xxx radio to the RM2. Made plank template for the same FW version and radio model. Read radio. Import radio data to the blank template. Modify if you need. Write template to your radio. Done.

Mr Ivan Patron has made a lot of very useful and detailed Sepura RM2 radio porgramming tutorial videos. All was avaible on Youtube. Now all is deleted becouse it was from Russia.

Thank you for your quick reply.
I just meant that the radio was not programmed with this computer over the RM2. I want to read the talkgroups, phone book and so on stored on the device.

You need only: RM2, same version FW pack as your radio now have and one data cable.

I have everything available here.
But I can not find a "read" button in the RM2.

Then something is worng with your RM2.

1. Start client.

2. Go to Toolbox (3rd menu from left on the top)

3. Now you see the operations menu.
4. From the operations menu choose the last: Read RMC

That is read radio -done.

After that save the file.
In the RM made one blank template.... see post #2

To enable Client:
In the RM, you must enable client.
Start your radio manager (login name is Admin).
On the top are 5 menus:
File, Edit, Admin, Window and Help.
You need the Admin menu.
The 3rd from the top submenu is Client Config.
You must enable the client here.

In your Sepura Radio Manager2 install directory search for PDf-files. So You can find very useful "help" files.
