    Default Changing ilReacTimerUl to 0s

    Dears,

My network value of ilReacTimerUl is 20ms.

After setting this timer to 0s to deactivate proactive scheduling, I ws expecting an enhancement of UL throughput, but I got UL MCS, UL BLER, SINR and UL throughput deterioration.

    Any explanation for this ?

Default Re: Changing ilReacTimerUl to 0s

Thpt detrition is somehow expected as UE has to ask eNb for scheduling grant to send TCP ack. That cause delay on air interface and naturally slower TCP.
regarding MCS initial MCS is used more often because as soon as UE flash old resources F-ULA has to be triggered again.
And last but not least sinr can be degraded because we have no any more low coded dummy grants to be send out from UE side , therefore DMRS used for sinr calculation has improved decoding ability.
