How to connect Bluetooth GPS (Holux/Globalsat) to TEMS 8?

Hi,

It is the first time I've used TEMS 8 with bluetooth GPS. I tried with 2 GPS: Globalsat BT-338 and Holux GPSlim 236. However, sometimes they can connect, sometimes can't and very unstable. I also tried to follow the guide step in TEMS 8 manual, but the connection was still unstable.

Please someone here help me step by step how to connect them to TEMS 8.0.3. Thank you.

Please give me more details:

- What is correct bluetooth GPS device to be select in TEMS Investigation equipment? (NMEA0183 or something else?)
- How to find the Port Number of the bluetooth GPS?
- Are the any patches or utilities to be used?

- pair your bluetooth device with your pc, select "serial port" type service
- after paired, check your port, note the port number of the bluetooth device
- in TI , add "NMEA0183" and select corresponding port then connect it
