Super Uplink Technical Poster
Currently, 5G networks deployed in C-band use TDD mode with both uplink and downlink data transmitted in C-band through time division multiplexing (TDM).
The time-frequency resources used for uplink transmission are limited, resulting in unsatisfactory uplink user experience.
Super uplink enables uplink data to be transmitted over the sub-3 GHz spectrum and C-band spectrum in different timeslots, greatly increasing the time-frequency
resources available to UEs for uplink transmission. Specifically, super uplink enables uplink data to be transmitted in all possible timeslots. That is, UEs can
send uplink data in C-band uplink timeslots as well as in the idle timeslots of a sub-3 GHz band during C-band downlink transmission.
