    Total Transmit Power with 64 Tx Antenna = 40 + 10 x log10 (64) = 40 + 18.06 =58.06 dBm
Total Transmit Power had included antenna gain (directive gain in dBi) which is used to calculated Equivalent Isotropical Radiated Power (EIRP).

The Reference Signal Power and the total transmit power of the cell can calculated by using a single channel power using following formula,
Reference Signal Power = Max Tx Power - 10*LOG10 (RBCell*12) dBm

    • Maximum Transmit Power indicates the transmit power in dBm per single channel
    • Reference Signal Power is the power in dBm per RE of single channel
    • RBcell indicate total RB number based on the cell bandwidth each RB with 12RE

    Sub-carrier Spacing 15 KHz 50 RBs with 10MHz

    • Reference Signal Power = 40 – 10 x log10(50 x 12) = 40 – 27.78
    • Reference Signal Power = 12.22 dBm

    Test me again.

Hi Dimitry. I would like to further clarify my understanding and correct me if I am wrong.
    1. The Cell Parameter Pmax is Power per Port. Correct?
    2. If I have 64 Tx or 64 PAs, then the total Power per Cell will be linear sum of all these 64 Ports with each Port at Pmax.
    As an example if I set Cell Power as 25 dBm, then total Cell Power will be 25 + 10 x log10 (64)= 25 + 18.06 = 43.06 dBm.
    3. The total EIRP will be 43.06 dBm + Antenna gain so if Antenna gain is 15 dBi, then EIRP= 58.06 dBm.

Now in the case of CBRS, The base station is limited to 47 dBm/10 MHz EIRP (Total).
For 60 Mhz of BW, that means 47 + 7.77 dB so I can go up to 54.77 dBm EIRP.
For E/// Massive MIMO which can have 16 user beams, I can go up another 12 dB since this rule is per beam so I can go upto 66.81 dBm.
Now if Antenna gain is 20 dB, my total Tx Power for cell can be 46.81 dBm.
Now per port for 64 port massive mimo, I can go to 46.81 - 18.06 = 28.75 dbm.
I am putting this value as cell Power in cell tab of Atoll.
I am linking the e/// 6488 cbrs massive mimo test report as well.
look at page 18 for the cclcs i followed.
Please give me ur opinion as this is an interesting topic.

Similarly if I follow ur logic for SSS EPRE, the value for 60 MHz NR channel should be
    28.75 - 35.56= -6.8 dbm?

Again appreciate if anyone can help demistify this.

    Hi Blaster

I think it should be like this. one PA works on one dipole. Therefore, the gain of the antenna should not be taken as the total gain, but as the gain of a single dipole ( 2.15 dBi)
    As your example if I set Cell Power as 25 dBm, then total Cell Power will be 25 + 10 x log10 (64)= 25 + 18.06 = 43.06 dBm.
The total EIRP will be 43.06 dBm + Antenna gain so if Antenna gain is 2.15 dBi, then EIRP= 45.21 dBm.
Reference Signal Power for 15 KHz 320 RBs with 60MHz
    Reference Signal Power = 45.21-
    10 x log10(320 x 12) = 45.12 - 35.84 = 9.28 dBm
