Qualcomm DIAG port worries
Good day everyone!
i've been tinkering around with an android phone with a Qualcomm snapdragon chipset and after a few stumbles i found a way to do a LTE cell lock (pci + earfcn lock) albeit needing a ue reboot ... now commercial software available does it without restarting the phone, so i suspect that they do it via some sort of request/command on the diag port forcing the modem subsystem to reset.
So saying that, my question for you gents is: My suspicions are correct? is there any diag port request/command to force a modem reset? if so what is it?
Thanks

Re: Qualcomm DIAG port worries
I think your best friend is USBTrace.
in it you can see there is an exchange,
unless such programs as dc-unlocker, or protected Winlicense/Themida -
don't start with many port/file/reg sniffers.
You can use a hardware USB sniffer for them.
diag cmd can be sent in QXDM, in qtools(example here), and in owns programs.
qcommand -p3 -e -c "c 29 02 00" // here reset/offline example
