updating flexlm license file

Hi again after long time.
I want to update a flexlm license file.
I have one old license file with outdated features (name) and I would like to update it including the new features (name and version) in order to they can be checked-out.
If I remember well:
- I have to obtain lmcrypt.exe (with lm_code.h, lm_code2.h, makefile, etc) and new deamon
- with the obtained lmcrypt.exe, I can write a new license file.
But what is the problem if when I try to check-out the new license I have the error: Invalid license key (inconsistent authentication code)?
- Is it a problem with the pubkeys?,
- if so, should I patch all the required files that content pubkey with the new pubkey data obtained with the new lmcrypt (new deamon)?
- could I make a lmcrypt file who has the pubkeys of the old deamon and then the new license file will be consistent and also I would not need to patch all the files with pubkeys?
-or is it nothing with the pubkeys and is it another kind of problem?
Any help please?, I am a little bit confused
