    Default Distance through TEMS

Friends, can we get the distance between the receicved signal and the source 'serving site' on the TEMS tool?

To be more clear, can we use TA 'Timing Advance to predict this distance, if yes how'

Sorry bro - a careless mistake.

TA * 0.55 = Minimum distance to cell in km

One TA step is approx 550m

If you want maximal distance to cell - then use (TA+1) * 0.55

For reference you may search in 3gpp TS05.10 specifications.

p.s i'll corect my post above
