Default Low band & High band Network Strategy

    Dears,

What's the recommended 4G network strategy in case of having two carriers
one is low band & the other is high band

    Hi.
In a more general view, since low band has more coverage and building penetration, it should be used for coverage and adding higher frequency bands for capacity.
    I hope it helps

    I agree with you
but my major focus is regarding parameter setting & neighbor configuration

    Hi justdream.
Sorry, I only can help with high level issues. I am not expert in low level parametrization.
I answered you because of I understood it was a high level question, sorry.
    Good luck

    stratgegy

    • The LTE camping philosophy is as follows:
      • Higher priority for bands with lower UE penetration support
      • Higher priority for higher bands (smallest coverage)
      • Higher priority for larger bandwidth (better throughput)
      • Equal priority for bands with similar RF characteristics
      • Equal priority for similar bandwidth (+/- 5MHz)
      • Some CA PCC bands can have higher priority if required

now what mml tables you need? let me know!

Thanks for the info, I want to check how to configure inter-freq neighbours in this case

    Hi!
@auto_art is there a document that describes the features of the strategy? Can you provide for everyone?
