Default RRU for a CW Test

    Hello dears,

Is it possible by any means to use a RRU to radiate in an omni antena and make it radiate a CW signal or the closest thing to it??
What are the changes of using a RRU unit to radiate a signal and use a scanner that signal to decode it and do somo model tuning??
    Thanks a lot.

No, you need a cw generator to do that. The only thing that you can use from the RRU it's the power amplifier module but you need to inject a signal on the input.
The best way is to use a cheap signal generator that is easy to found on the ebay, but usually with lower frequencies. You need to multiply the signal to obtain the desire frequency (900MHz or higher) and amplify the signal.
