Labolatory network on BBU3900 - looking for software
Hello everybody.
In near future i want to establish a labolatory cellular network.
It's possible for me to get an Huawei BBU3900, with their properly RRUs(Radio Transceivers).
Could anyone help me finding proper software for running a single site LTE/3G/2G network?
I heard about propertiary software for controlling these devices... which need licenses.
Has somebody knowledge, and chances to share an unlocked server software, or other things that i will need to make a complete working network in the box with Huawei cellular infrastructure?
Thanks in advice.

try to contact the Huawei company,
I think they will gladly give you a academic license for educational institutions.
especially if you already have hardware ))
I installed such Huawei network,
without the huawei support and purchased from different dismantling,
but only cdma800. for this you need experience.
and not only software, the control boards need load licenses too.
so, if you don't build a pirate network, it will be cheaper to work with Huawei.

Re: Labolatory network on BBU3900 - looking for software
Thanks everyone for reply.
A few days ago i got a few modules, like RRU3839 and BBU3900 with WBBP, LBBP and UMPT card.
Is it possible to build a small network, without the central module, like U2000 server?
How can i skip these difficulty?

Re: Labolatory network on BBU3900 - looking for software
Good afternoon! The RRU3839 block supports UMTS technology. Block BBU3900 with boards WBBP, LBBP, UMPT is a system unit. The maximum you can do is to assemble the base station equipment. You still need to connect the antennas. It's hard to say what it will be. Since the main part of the UMTS technology and software will be missing. Best regards. Slava
