TETRA Terminal with multiple ISSI support
Is there any TETRA Terminal available on the market with with multiple ISSI support (done via user profiles, system/personality or something like this)? EADS, SEPURA and ******** radios I come across definitely can't do that.

Looks like it's limited to DMO only. Can't do TMO.

Re: TETRA Terminal with multiple ISSI support
it's like asking if a ferrari if it could go off road.... issi is taking part on the authentication/encryption process by creating unique keys for each radio....
so asking a radio to have 2 issis is a bit crazy...

ISSI is not part of authentication process. ISSI is a thing used for authorization. Anyway, why not? Different networks and different ISSI - what's the problem?

What is the difference being part of the authentication and being thing used for authentication? In my ear it sound like it doesn't make any sense, but it might be just me
Anyway I think its more about the security that only one radio can have one issi because having a possibility to have one radio with multiple issi's sound just huge security risk for me. The main target group for these radios is police, emergency units, military, private security etc. And all of those can get two or three radios if they need to be in more than one network. Also I guess its easier to keep track of all the communication in those networks when they come from different radios versus when they would come from same radio. I don't see much use for multiple issi support in one radio unit since field units normally be part of only one network and then emergency response centers etc have possibility to operate in multiple networks if needed. Having possibility to make like one "master unit" that could access all the networks is not a good idea nor no one even need that.

authorization will mean registration (basic TMO process), while Authentication (which is a paid feature) is part of security.
