How To Solved Low UL THP in LTE [Huawei 10 MHZ]
Dear Expert,
pls help me,how to increase UL THP in LTE Huawei 10MHZ:
We have done this step but still not improved:
1.Downtilt
2.SINR and RSRP good situation
3.SmartPreAllocationSwitch actived
pls help me master....

Re: How To Solved Low UL THP in LTE [Huawei 10 MHZ]
Hi,
Some suggestions:
1) Check that the transmission capacity is well dimensioned.
2) Test the transmission for packet loss: Run a ping test from eNodeB to MME with different packet sizes (up to 1500 bytes at least), if you get packet loss then definitely there is a Tx problem
3) Review if the number of users is high, this will have impact on throughput.
4) Review the uplink interference stats, to see if the uplink is becoming a bottleneck.
5) There are a couple of features that can help you for cell edge users: Interference Rejection Combining (IRC), Intra-eNodeB UL CoMP. Check if they are available.
6) Use a tool like FMA (you can find it in the forum) to compare the configuration from your problem eNodeB with another one performing correctly.
Hope this helps

Hi,
i just do this step:
the same step what you give, but slightly not improved:
Test 1 done
Test 2 done
Test 3 RB, dn RRC user
Test 4 done, ul inteference turun by attenuation dn deaActive neighbor Cell
Test 5, ICIC feature done , ul comp a3 decreased inteference neighbor
what should i have done again,
I have try,but no improved.
pls exepert give me some cheat.

Hi coach
How can we check the transmission for packet loss?
you said that "Run a ping test from eNodeB to MME with different packet sizes (up to 1500 bytes at least), if you get packet loss then definitely there is a Tx problem"
is there any command for ping?

Hi,
yes, there is a command for HW, you just write "PING"

Hi Mates,
If you re re-driving this area, getting still low throughput. You can add this to below checks
1-Time of drive check (not busy hour) as you checked users (hourly)
2-Check CQI and MCS
3-This occuring in specific spots or in general.
4- If in general you can try different type of Handset.
Let us know if that helped.

Hi
Did you checked PRB Utilization on UL ? , if its high try to go for reducing coverage or adding layer.
which layer are you having issue on ? L18 , L26 , L9 ?
What is the Actual RSRP at the location , can you check from NASTAR the live RSRP and ECNO. ?
Do check the Packet Loss Rate for the site and TCP Delay for the user is it higher than 10,000 ?
