    Hello All,

    Does any one tested DRD to GSM. (U900 to GSM900) for CS services ?

    Hi, is this Huawei equipment?

    In that case, you can try the Load-based UMTS-to-GSM Handover feature (similar algorithms are available in other vendors). It takes a little longer to trigger than DRD, but has higher success rate since it is based on actual measurements (DRD is blind HO).

    For Huawei, I-RAT Load Handover is one of the actions of the LDR algorithm (MOD UCELLLDR). You need to configure one of the LDR actions with the "CSInterRatShouldBeLDHO" option. For example:

    MOD UCELLLDR: CellId=XXXX, DlLdrFourthAction=CSInterRatShouldBeLDHO, UlLdrFourthAction=CSInterRatShouldBeLDHO;

    This will set the fourth LDR action to CS Inter-RAT Handover (previous actions can be Code Reshuffling, inter-freq handover and BE Rate Reduction, for example).

    Hope this helps,
