frequency hopping

Hi all
pls tell me, in the frequency hopping, when we use 2 methods baseband hopping and synthesizer hopping that is hop frame or slot ?

The mobile station changes frequencies once every TDMA frame, i.e. 217 times per second.

but how to use the filter combiner and hybrid combiner ?
if FH used to hop frame, right ? so, f0( include BCCH ) is not hop, but in the hopping technical that only BCCH in TS0 of f0 is not hop, other TS ( 1..7) can hop,
can you explain ?

i have read this doccument, but i don't know
in this doc the hopping are hopped by time slot, right ?
but the speed of hop are 217hop/second --> this hopping are hopped by frame, right ?
could you explain for me ?
