Default Link performance whith no UAS but only BBE.

    dear experts;
Please i need someone who can explain about MW link (RTN 980 &15ghz & 1+1 HSB) that i designed close to lake but not above it.
The history performances so far show that there are no UAS but only BBE .
    for ex on 01/26/2016 :
    IF_ES(s) =18s
    IF_SES(s) =2.0
    IF_CSES(s)=0
    IF_UAS(s)=0
    IF_BBE(block)= 2398.0
The minimum of RSL is still above the threshold but only some extra dBm added to the nominal value.

My colleagues of optimization claim packet loss in some node B and suspect problem of reflection of that link.

I’m wondering if that BBE is the cause of the packet loss and could be the lake the source of reflection despite it doesn’t cross the lake .

    I appreciate any help.

If it's not going directly over (above) the lake, then there's no issue with reflections. What is your RSL variation range, that is, if you planned this link to have -40 dBm RSL, how many dBs it goes down to? Do you sometimes get RSL above your designed level?

Since your minimum RSL is still several dB over threshold, and you get errors, I'd check for possible interference.

Anyway, any errors in transmission (and you have 18 errored seconds, of which 2 are severely errored) will result in packet (frame) loss. You don't have UAS, as you need to have 10 consecutive SES to have UAS.

first i want to thanks you about your expected support.
for that link i designed with RSL -42dBm and annual (multi path& rain)99.993.
yes sometimes the RSL level go above the nominal value as mentinned bellow:
End Time Max Rx Power(dBm) Min Rx Power(dBm) Power to Be Received(dBm)
    2016-01-13 -43.5 -46.6 -44.7
    2016-01-14 -42.8 -47.4 -44.1
    2016-01-15 -42.3 -50.2 -46.6
    2016-01-16 -43.8 -65.5 -44.9
    2016-01-17 -43.2 -47.8 -45.2
    2016-01-18 -38.5 -49.2 -44.8
    2016-01-22 -38.6 -42.5 -39.6
    2016-01-23 -38.7 -42.7 -39.7
    2016-01-24 -35.0 -44.0 -39.6
    2016-01-25 -37.3 -43.2 -39.7
    2016-01-26 -39.4 -42.0 -39.8
    2016-01-27 -38.3 -42.7 -40.0

the antenna diameters are 0.9 and 0.6 in the other side.
should i put both of them 1.2 to increase the performance objectives?
    thanks in advance.
