Question Alignment of P-CPICH values in co-sectored cells

Is there any requirements for the P-CPICH of co-sectoring cells (same sector; different carriers) to have the same dBm value in Nokia WCDMA Networks?

Perhaps when using Multi Carrier Features such as DC-HSDPA?

It's more of a hypothetical question.
The documentation specifically requires that same sectored cells have the same PtxPrimaryCPICH and CPICHtoRefRABoffset, I just never understood why

Excerpt from RAN 40 Doc on PtxPrimaryCPICH:
SectorID of WCEL - VALUE OF WCEL-PtxPrimary-
CPICH have to be identical in all wcel with same
    sector ID.

    Hi,

for DRRC it is mandatory and generally if you prefer to have load balanced sector.
For Dc-HSDPA it is not but it will degrade performances at the cell edge. Nokia still have not possibility do switch off/on one carrier based on MAC commands.
Generally i don;t see too much pint to have unequal PCPICH for same sector carriers.

I think you should use the same PCICH on all carriers of the same CPICH to balance the traffic/coverage.
