VS.RRC.Rej.Other.Cong(times) is too high, RAN14

Dear friends,

Our system has just been upgraded from RAN11 to RAN14, Huawei.

RRC Success Rate is getting lower because of congestion, reason of congestion is OTHER (VS.RRC.Rej.Other.Cong).

Till now, not yet found any solution to solve this.

What other congestion is on the site besides this one? CE, DL Power, Code, etc?

Do you get any alarms on the sites affected? eg NodeB board overload?

Try and upgrade your processor and baseband cards from WMPT to UMPT, WBBP to WBBPf. Re-balance your RSG groups or allocate 1 x WBBP board for each sector (or 2 for the worst affected sector)
