    Dear All expert

I have a some inquiries about Remote Electrical Tilt (RET) System

how to the system (CCU in Sites location) will be connect to the central office ( Antenna Management system Server location)?
-regarding Transmission types ATM Or IP.
-does it require separate transmission system or use the existing BTS transmission system.

also which is better to use one of these two solutions:-
-Outsource Remote Electrical Tilt (RET) System like from (Kathein, RFS,....)
    - Vendor Remote Electrical Tilt (RET) System solution like (Huawei, NSN, .....)

    hello:
As you talk about CCU I undrestand that you are using a secondary provider for the Antenna devices, normally the easiest way is to use the antenna devices comming from the same provider than the BTS, enodeb..etc, in that case the Antenna devices are created as part of the radio equipments and the management is done with the same toll.
I dont know how is than in Ericcson or NSN, but in Huawei the RET, TMa..etc can be any, in my network we use Kathrein and we create the ALD in the M2000 as it were a Huawei equipment but we need to install a sw comming from the provider, that equipments (ALD) must follow the AISG standarts so basically you can install anything you want.
You dont need any separate transmission equipment to monitor the ALD.
