Default HSUPA DCCC Vs. Dynamic CE Resource Management : Your feedback ?

    Dear Huawei experts,

When Dynamic CE Resource Management feature and HSUPA DCCC are activated at the NodeB at the same time, HSUPA DCCC automatically becomes ineffective at the NodeB. So to choose HSUPA DCCC we need to deactivate CE Resource Management feature.

Both of these feature used to reduce CE consumption. Which one is more effective from your experience.

    BR,
    Fahmi

Clealy Dynamic CE. But you need at the same time to activate also overbooking. With the first algorithm, NodeB will use only the CE needed by each user, and by the second algorithm, it will report the actual CE used to the RNC for proper Admission Control!

If HSUPA DCCC is activated first and then Dynamic CE, you must deactivated HSUPA DCCC. Otherwise Dynamic will not take effect, this is clear in the documentation but during trials its possible to see clearly this.

Dynamic CE has a batter results compared to HSUPA DCCC: in terms of CE utilization and signaling reduction (Radio Bearer Reconfig).
In somecases you may need to activate also CE Overbooking, but this isn't mandatory and not needed in some cases.
