    Default Power consumption HSPA vs R99 services

    Dear experts,

    Could you plz explain the difference betwwen power consumption of differrent sevices HSPA and R99, DL and UL, CS and PS.

    I would try explain.
    Power consumption depends on each vendor.
    But in general, and this is my view (please tell me anyone if I am wrong), power consumption will depend on the use over the time of the common 3G carrier bandwidth (5 Mhz). One aspect to bear in mind is that HSDPA is more efficient than Data R99, then 1MB over HSDPA will consume less than 1MB over R99. In other word, 1 bit in HSDPA consume lees than 1 bit in Voice or R99.
