RRC Drop reasons
Hi all,
What could be the reasons for high RRC drops in a cell?!
the only other thing related to RRC is that we have congestion on RRC too,

Re: RRC Drop reasons
Check resource ulitization if you have congestion as it is the first thing that needs to be checked.

Have you check if there is a service affecting alarms,plus, have you tried to reset it first?

Re: RRC Drop reasons
There you go, congestion can cause RRC to fail as well. before you do anything else: check basic stuff: coverage (signal/Quality), alarm is clean, parameter is set properly.
thanks and good luck!

Re: RRC Drop reasons
Thanks all,
The RRC drop is such high that RNC level RRC drop is 5 %, drilling down to cell level shows that there are some cells which have high RRC drop upto 15%, among these cells there are both cases with congestion and without congestion, but I noticed that most of the drops are happening for PS RRCs and few of them related to FACH.
@JCarlos21
What do you mean by Radio Link Power? any specific parameter? (the system is E******* W13)
