    Default EDGE issue

    Dear Experts,

Appreciate if you let me know what parameter makes me sure that this cell (A) is having EGPRS enabled and cell (B) is having only GPRS? in E******* Network.

    Many thanks,
    Haider

    Dears,

Is there a way to check if I'm on GPRS or on EDGE by drive test signalling, only?

    BR,
    Hi ,

Yes, just simply check coding scheme assigned while you are having PS activity. If it is CS1 up to CS4 it means you are getting served by GPRS and if it is MCS1 up to MCS9 it means you are getting served by EGPRS

    Cheers

    hi
please just print the command rlcrp:cell=A; you should see under 64K=EGPRS and under USE=GPRS that show you that some users attached to the cell A are making EGPRS
