DRX cycle length setting in S4-SGSN

Hi,
Could someone explain, what is the impact of DRX cycle length parameter, if it is not defined correctly between S4-SGSN & RNC.
What is the parameter name in SGSN?
Our customer using Nokia UTRAN & HUAWEI PS CN, and we are seeing lots of failure for no response to page in RNC. Currently the value DRX cycle length is set as 5 in RNC and 6 on IuPS.
