Hi,
I have code congestion in my network. Its a unmature network with very less traffic. There is no power or CE congestion, but I can see code congestion!
I tried to change the minimum HSDPA code number used (HSPDSCHMINCODENUM), but no effect.
Any help to need to analyse the code congestion in Huawei network. Any help will be appreciated.

We are calculating Code congestion by using the formula Code Congestion in cells= VS.RRC.Rej.Code.Cong +VS.RAB.FailEstabCS.Code.Cong +VS.RAB.FailEstabPS.Code.Cong
while 99% of cell is giving value 0(i.e no congestion) but few cells are giving value as 2,3,4,6 etc....which mean we have code congestion for these cells.
HSPDSCHMAXCODENUM=15 HSPDSCHMINCODENUM=5 MAXTXPOWER=430
We have changed HSPDSCHMINCODENUM to 3 but no effect!

For any code congestion :
1.Check the traffic distribution in Mapinfo, and do traffic sharing using adjacent parameter changing
2.In crowded area (a lot of nodeB cell servings), reduce the active set numbers (3 è 2) . This will impact to the code used for reselection process
3.Reduce HS-SCCH’s code number from 4 to 2. HS-SCCH (max 4 per UE) is only used to decode the next HSPDSCH frame
4.Reduce User Number for Code Adjust for HSDPA = 3 (This is used in LDR, but in code reshuffling, it also need 2 codes in the process, this mean in the same time total code that will be used is 6 codes)
5.Increase maximum number of HSDPA in a cells
6.Set the Allocate Mode HSDPA to automatic, and set the proper number of HS-PDSCH code
7.Activate code LDR Algorithm and set the LDR on 1st action with Code Adjust
8.Add 2nd, 3rd, etc carriers
9.owntilt the antenna
Normally you have to reduce this min code. ALso check what consumes so much of your code tree, maybe you have more R99 PS users than u want to, maybe is better to allocate HSPA, depends on ur strategy. Check how is configured different state transitions, maybe you have to make it more aggressive and faster transition between different RRC states and of course at the end to offload the cell by downtilt etc.
Bro as I have said it is an unmature nw so no traffic utlisation as such! There is something fishy here.

In the value of TRMMAP ID=8, IuPS only voice and interactive services that' also for R99 only configured. Is this is normal.
Evan i tried to add manually one TRMMAP for IuPS, but the above only shows active (R99).
What's the issue
