Reputation System Flawed?

I'm still trying to get a handle on how this reputation system works. It's easy to assume that +rep is an automatic process toward your account. However, I'm a bit perplexed while avidly watching my control panel over the past week or so. +Rep has yet to be given instantly after someone has provided it. The earliest I've seen it credited into my Control Panel has been around 24hours from the time of click. Others have taken longer while most have never been represented. Please review the attached for comparison.

Is this happening to anyone else? While I'm very grateful that some of my posts have been well received and people have taken the time to provide +rep, I am looking for clarification that their efforts aren't done in vein. I someday want to progress up the ranks on this site and I'm beginning to think that I am misunderstanding the process, my account is bugged, or the Reputation System itself is flawed. We're all engineers here and I want to better understand what is happening. Hopefully someone more tenured may be able to shed light upon my situation.

This is a summary that I hope will help new members like me:
To download a attachment you need to become a member (junior member -> member). You also need credits.

To become a Member you need:
- At least 1 post,
- reputation greater than 15,
- registered time greater than 3 days

Reputation System:
By default you have 10 reputation posts. You can gain points by creating posts that other people thank for. The amount of reputation posts depends on their reputation power.

Credits:
How to earn credits:
- one post will add 1 credit;
- one thread will add 2 credits;
- other user download a attachment in your post will add 3 credits
- for each 100 views you get 10 credits
- each day you are loged in to this forum will get you credits (the more days in a row the more you get)


TL;DR: Create posts with useful stuff that people need.

Has anyone else noticed they are not getting the +Rep on their totals that have been provided to them?

I'm also confused with this reputation system and i don't now how to return to Senior Member....
What can i do without posting things that are already posted to get to Senior Member....

There are two way you can add reputation(+1 or -1) to the poster.

1. click "Did you find this post helpful?"-YES, +1 reputation; -NO, -1 reputation.( on the right top of the post)
2. click " Add to this user's repuation" -I approve, + 1 repuation;- I disapprove, -1 repuation.(left bottom of the post).


by the way: "Thanks for this post" doesn't + reputation, it only gives a indication of how popular the post is.

checked with your 15 posts, it is hard to get positive reputation from others considering the content of your posts.

Be active and share your knowledge, you will get reputation quickly.
