Changing IdleQOffset2sn paramter
Dear Experts,
I have some issue with changing IdleQOffset2sn parameter for UINTRAFREQNCELL neighbor relations.
By executing MOD UINTRAFREQNCELL command with new value for IdleQOffset2sn parameter, I got that this parameter is not valid for branch.
Assuming that this parameter is related to EcNo offset in idle mode, SIB11Ind parameter for this neighbor relation is TRUE.
Measurment quantity is EcNo
ConnQOffset2sn is not relevant since SIB12Ind is FALSE
Can anyone explain what is wrong?
BTW, parameter CIOOffset is also affecting reselection, but it seems that its affecting and also dedicated mode as well. Am I right?
Thanks

Try to setup IdleQOffset1sn to 0, if you are even not using it.

Re: Changing IdleQOffset2sn paramter
By changing this parameter I got message illogical command
And it can be explained IdleQOffset1sn should be used only if measurements quantity defined as RSCP, while in my case is set for EcNo

Re: Changing IdleQOffset2sn paramter
OK, In SRAN7 we cannot change IdleQOffset2sn without placing info for IdleQOffset1sn via MML commands.
What kind of RAN you are using?

Re: Changing IdleQOffset2sn paramter
In your network do you not have PCH state activated?
In SRAN6 was possible to run MML command with or without IdleQOffset1sn.
Long time I am using this, and it is working:
MOD UINTRAFREQNCELL:RNCID=XXX,CELLID=XXXXX,NCELLRNCID=YYY,NCELLID=YYYYY,SIB11IND=TRUE,IDLEQOFFSET1SN=0,IDLEQOFFSET2SN=4,SIB12IND=TRUE,CONNQOFFSET1SN=0,CONNQOFFSET2SN=4;
Remove what is not useful for you.
