I am looking for SNR plots in the actix attributes but was not able to find it processing LTE logs (tems, nemo, genex, dingli). I try to check Preferences but was not able to find SNR plots to show and export via map. As i check, starting from Jan 2012 release of Actix, it should have new attributes as seen on the attachement.
Do you have any idea how to show the SNR plot? or again license issue?
Try use attribute help and find (act 4.05.280.483 Position LTE > DownLink Measurements > MIMO)
LTE_UE_SNR_Rx0
This array gives the SNR measurements broken down per antenna pair. The unit is dB.
Attribute Definition
Format Group LTE CINR
Type FloatArray
Binning Operation Mean
Visible Yes
Array Yes
Maximum Index 2
Position LTE > DownLink Measurements > MIMO
Global Property No
Stream Flags LTEHandset
Try use attribute help and find (act 4.05.280.483 Position LTE > DownLink Measurements > MIMO)
Thanks for the guide but we are using Actix Analyzer 5. Checking preferences and attribute wizard, we cannot still display LTE_UE_SNR_Rx0 on the Attribute Explorer so that we will able to plot in on Map instead of the LTE_UE_CINR plot on the Downlink Measurements-->MIMO.
Anybody explored how to show it in Actix. Genex Assistant, Nemo Analyze and Pilot Navigator has this plots and requirement for display on our report. We should come up with the same plot as the other post-processing tool.
This is really strange as I have the same issue,
we are using Qualcomm chipset but still no SNR measurement can be found in Actix,
I am using Actix v4 (July)
Hello Ching2,
I am a bit confused about your question.... when it comes to measurement always we need to see CINR and actually we can not measure SNR.... why ? because when we are measuring the noise... interference is also included and we can not separate ..... if you remember in WCDMA we always using EcNo.... but EcNo in measurement is always Ec/(I +No)....I think that is a historically naming which has remained.... So SNR is the same story.... you can not measure N alone... you always measure I + N... so practically we measure CINR.. even though we call it SNR....due to historical abbreviation... Therefore if a vendor like as qualcomm names it SNR or for example TEMS calls it CINR... in the case of measuring both are the same...
