MCS Coding allocation

Hi experts,

Does Number of users affect MCS coding allocation? For example if 2+2 is the configuration(Static+dynamic) then upto how many users i will get MCS9 coding Assuming C/I>27

- To get MCS 9 it depend on: radio condition, radio config, Abis extra for GPRS. How many user: it depend on number of TBF per radio TS that you config.

Hi,
Coding allocation depends on Radio Environment and also on the number of 64k timeslots on Abis. If there are more users n less 64k time slots on E1then that could affect allocation on a lower coding scheme.

Normally MCS 9 works if each user gets 1 RDTSL and 5 ABIS Tsls,
