    Default Continuous Packet Connectivity usage

    Hi Guys,

Please let me know if anyone is using CPC (Continuous Packet Connectivity) feature in their networks?

What I've recently found is that to use this feature you will have to disable the state transition including Cell-FACH state, which is quite impractical IMHO.

    Please share your thoughts.

    Cheers!

    Chefo.

    Hello Chefo,

The activation of the CPC will not require the disactivation of FACH, specially that CPC is only affecting a percent of the network mobiles "not all UE's are supporting this feature".
but you will have extended timers for the UE's which are supported the CPC instead of the normal state Transition timers.

    Cheers,
    Mohamed
