Question Two RBS2111 with Two E1´s

    Hi Dear Experts,

Please tell me it is that possible... I have two RBS2111 one Master and one Slave with sync cable... Initially RBS were working both wired sync with an E1, but required additional E1 due to traffic of Ps. The problem is that to get the additional E1 port B of the Masters can not see the E1 and the slave is out of service.

    Any idea?

I think you must add the new E1 at Port C in Master RBS because as far as i know

Ports A,C is used for upstream BSC connection
Ports B,D is used for Downstream RBS connection.

also make synchronization sources at master as both ports A, C

connect slave RBS to Port B at master

make sure that Tie-Value for master is 62 and for slave is 61
also make sure that transmission topology at Master is set to "Cascade" and at slave is "Stand-alone"

i think that will resolve the problem .............

Thanks MAZ29... for your answer, but remember that RBS2111 have only Port A / Port B...

But I resolve the problem conect 1st E1 in Port A (MASTER) 2nd E1 Port B (Slave) and Sinconization wire PORT B (MASTER) TO PORT A (SLAVE).

And TFMode define as Master and Slave.

    Regard.
